"Get treated like royalty with all inclusive that surpasses every expectation"

When you think of an all inclusive resort you might think of compromises with food quality and diluted drinks. This place doesn’t skimp on any of that. Somehow they pull off an amazing feat in hospitality by having restaurants that would be successful as stand alone establishments and drinks that rival craft cocktail bars. The space and architecture is luxurious yet comfortable, the views are picture perfect. The grounds and rooms immaculate. Service is exceptional with attention to every detail. Special thanks to Samuel Gomez our waiter at the beach for 5 days (he patrolled the beach area between bikini and sunset bar). Give this man an award for customer service! He made sure we always had great drinks and food anticipating our every need. His job is not easy in the blazing humid 90 degree humid heat and walking on sand and he always did it with a smile.

Okay there are not enough words to express what a good experience this resort gave us! The rooms were gorgeous, spacious, and immaculately clean, and restocked daily, the view from our suite was OUTRAGEOUS. I’ll be dreaming about it forever. The pools were wonderful. The pool bars and bartenders were excellent. The pool staff in general were great, meeting you with a warm towel before you enter the chilly lobby which is SUCH a luxurious touch! The food was great. So many options right on property we never had to leave to eat and never ate the same meal twice! (My personal favorite dinner was Tuscany, but my family and I both really enjoyed the breakfast buffet) the service was outstanding beyond belief. On day I casually mentioned to the bartender that I loved these little deserts they had the day i arrived and I was sad i wouldn’t get anymore before I left, that night when I arrived back at my room they were waiting for me! The absolute attention to detail here speaks volumes! The resort is a bit older than some of the others in the hotel zone but in the most charming way. Absolutely lovely. Lots of fresh flowers out at all times, everything clean and beautiful, gorgeous pothos plants trail all over and are clearly cared for meticulously. The shampoo and toiletries they provide are even top notch! The gift shop had a huge variety of “in case your forgot it” type items, which we did of course LOL, and everything was still so reasonably priced and well stocked it was no big deal.
This place was nice and quiet honestly, no issues with any loud hallway noise or partying sounds, perfect night sleep every time.
The concierge and really everyone were so helpful, always. Made it very easy to navigate Cancun! Help with booking activities, as well as just advice on bus schedules and walking distance places and general local info.

"Beach ocean heaven all inclusive in Cancun - wonderful service and amenities."

Joined the Fiesta Americana Vacation Club… not a timeshare but buy points every month and can use at any Mexican FAVC resort. Glad we chose All Inclusive. Love, love this place. Husband not a beach bunny but he loves it here. So many lounge chairs and umbrellas. They moved umbrella to ensure hubby was out of sun but still had water view. Service non-intrusive and so welcoming, efficient and friendly. Beach only steps away from the 5+ pools, lots of bars, 7 restaurants cater to all your whims. Italian, Mexican, 2 fancy foo foo restaurants, Buffet theme changes every night. Food and drinks by the beach with lots of waiter service. Room service such a fantastic option without having to pay 18% surcharge being all inclusive. Room full ocean view with big couch and balcony. So relaxing. We were going to catch a ferry to Isla Mujeres, loved the hotel so much we stayed here for the 5 days. Lots of families, not loud, well behaved, lots of different nationalities all getting along so nicely. Everyone is so respectful. Place superbly clean and well ordered. We’ll back very soon!!! Driving to and from airport, no issues at all.

We had an amazing trip! Everything was top notch! The accommodations and property were beautiful and the location was the best. We were able to swim in the ocean every day! The service was impeccable.
The food was good, we especially enjoyed Le Basillic and room service, as well as the service at the beach club! We had the Infinite upgrade and it was well worth it!
Our room was the Infinite Oceanfront Master Suite and it had an amazing view and patio! The infinite club had snacks and drinks available all day. And by snack I mean sushi, and yakitori, and so many other wonderful things to eat. The coffee shop on the ground floor also had coffees, sandwiches and baked goods.
A ferry trip to Isla Mujeres was included with the Infinite package as well as a hydrotherapy treatment for two and dinner at Le Basillic. The service at the beach was wonderful, Roosevelt was super attentive and helpful.
They even had an attendant that, as you came back into the hotel, from the beach, would wash the sand from your feet and give you slippers.
Our room was cleaned daily, our snack bar with coffee and drinks was replenished, and turn-down service was also provided in the evening. We felt extremely well taken care of from arrival to departure. I highly recommend this property and we will definitely stay here again if we are in Cancun.

"Fantastic week-long vacation"

My husband and I just returned from a 7 night stay at the resort and it was truly incredible. We travel frequently to Cancun and always stay at all-inclusive resorts. This was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The staff was incredible – professional, friendly, personable and always went above and beyond. They paid attention to the small things and made each and every day special. We spent most of the time at the beach and Alex was the best poolside/beachside server we have ever had! The lobby bartenders and waitress were phenomenal – Moises, Sheron- to name some. The restaurant service at dinner and lunch time was top notch as well. We really enjoyed the food – great fresh seafood, steak, burgers, poke bowls, sushi, salads, etc (lots of options). Resort is comfortable, clean and we will definitely be back!! Thank you for an amazing week!

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left. From guest service to the food and amenities this place blew my mind. I mean really, I have never experienced customer service like I have here. Absolutely amazing. I have so much respect for all of the hard working management and staff at this facility. This is the first time I left a trip wishing I could have stayed longer to this extent. Eversyone is friendly and the customer service is so much better than anything I have seen in the states lately. I plan on coming back and bringing the entire family next time. It is a family resort but also good for couples. The food was very good and the value this place offers is amazing. Definitely worth it. 24/hour room servide included is awesome. Grand fiesta americana is a safe bet for anyone looking at different resorts in cancun, I cannot see how anyone could be disappointed by booking here. The all inclusive is awesome. Highly recommend and will be back

"A Trip to cherish 😍"

We (me, my wife and 3 year old daughter) visited Cancun and stayed at grand fiesta. It’s an awesome resort and I can confidently say that it exceeded all our expectations. Our main purpose was to relax and rest, away from our busy work lives. We stayed for 5 days. Food was excellent especially at the Nakaxx restaurant. The resort restaurants offers a variety of delicious cuisines and we loved them all. Drinks were also amazing. We played a lot at the beach, at the pool. Our daughter also had a great time at the pool. Weather also was amazing. Overall we had a fun and relaxing stay. If you are looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway in a stunning setting with topnotch service and amenities, this is the place to be. I wish to return and experience it all over again

"Amazing"

One of the best experience! And definitely try Le Basilie, amazing food and service, live piano and ballet. Thanks to Nicasio and Miguol for the great service! We loved the 6 courses offered there especially the truffle foie gras, and we also got special gift for the anniversary, one of the best dining experience anywhere.

 

"The best of grand fiesta"

We got the chance to go to Tuscany the Italian restaurant in the hotel and the food and service was amazing. Our waitress Gustavo was really hospitable and made some great recommendation. We also got to try La Joya and the mole de olla and aguachile/ceviche were fantastic. Jesus was our server and brought us a really nice drink called Alfonso 13 that went great with the chocolate mousse dessert. Overall good and service at both of these places were awesome.

 

"Lobby Bar - you will love it!"

Not like other hotel lobby bars, this one has the very best staff working; Blanca, Paulina, Regina,Isabel and Eva are the best servers EVER!
They all know their liquor and their mixed drinks, ask them for a tequila suggestion and you will not regret it.
This is a fun place even before the music starts!!

 

"Birthday Celebration"

Le Basilic, Absolutely impressed with the level of service and knowledge of meal and wine pairing. The 7 course meal experience is not included in the all inclusive opitions yet worth every peso. Enjoy the unique flavors of Escargot, Duck, Foie Gras, Miguel was knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant is adults only and requires reservations. It is perfect for a special celebrations. The live piano music along with the ballet dancers are a surprising addition to the unforgettable occasion. Dress code required.

 

"Must visit french restaurant!"

Le Basilie is a 5 diamond AAA-rated restaurant. We were served by Nicasio and Edy and their service was exceptional. They explained each dish in detail with wine pairings that are perfect for each. The 6 course plus hors d’oeuvre to predessert french cuisine was beyond words I didnt want each dish to end! The mood of the restaurant is calm and classy with unique art pieces on the wall. A ballet performance was also great along with a live pianist. Worth the extra bucks.

Overall a great vacation stand outs where the le basilic restaurant and the gem spa, Salvador took excellent care of us every morning at the Vila del Mar buffet breakfast the only reason that it wasn’t a 5 star review is the lack of attention to detail in the resort itself you can unfortunately see the aging of the property especially in the spa area light bulbs out, damaged wall/ facade, water features in the hot tub that where not working

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience. Thanks to Nicasio we had a great time. Nicasio has a great sense of humor and made our dinner so much more enjoyable. the food was delicious and the service was even better. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

 

"Most amazing stay - awesome views, ambience and food"

We had the most amazing stay here earlier this year, and hope to go back someday. The view from our suite was even better than the pics – just absolutely spectacular. The beach this resort is at is probably one of the best resort beaches in Cancun. Most aquamarine water were have seen anywhere in Mexico. We sort of knew this from our research – and that was validated during our stay.
After a lot of research on various Cancun resorts, we split our stay between GFA and another 5-star resort (part of a prominent chain), and Grand Fiesta turned out so much better in every way!
Our meal at La Joya was one of the most memorable ones ever. The shakes at the main restaurant were amazing, as were the fresh tacos by the beach. The views and setting of Isla Contoy are incredible. They were able to arrange some tasty veg food for us. Kudos to the staff and chefs.
Nightly shows were great and kept the family entertained. The fire show folks were especially talented!
The only irritant during our trip was the water sports place which was not giving out any kayaks or other complementary stuff citing high winds all throughout our stay, but were happy to rent out all the paid stuff.
We hopped on to local city buses to get to downtown Cancun, the tower, La Isla, the aquarium, and other places – super convenient, clean and cheap. There is also a very lively area with night clubs, a little market, and a very scenic public beach (Playa Gaviota / Playa Lagarto) with amazing sunrises and sunsets a short walk away.. we were glad we stepped out to explore.
All in all, a totally amazing stay.

Friends winter get away vacation in Mexico. Angel Jose, the Best Bartender in the Grand Fiesta Americana at the La Joya Bar.

Definitely recommend to try the drinks and all the specially drinks created by the bartender.

Le Basilic was amazing. The food, atmosphere and experience couldn’t be beat. Each course got better and better. The wine pairs went well with each course The ballet dancers were just the icing on the cake.

The mariachi was outstanding, they sing at every table and they offer to sing your favorite song.

Le Basilic is a must try! Every bite just melts in your mouth, you absolutely can’t pick a favorite course. David and Manuel were incredible and took such great care of us. Special thanks to the Chef for the amazing food, making it an experience we will always remember!

 

"Excellent service, good food, solid value for a family"

Stayed 5 nights with my family (incl. 9 and 11 yr old). Overall, I would stay here again. What stood out most to me what the service- truly top notch with no hassle if you wanted to change something.

My top suggestion: if you enjoy truly 5 star cocktails, see Angel in the La Joya (Mexican) restaurant bar. We are cocktail snobs, and Angel absolutely blew us away with his creations such as La Piel Mexico, the color changing drink, and several others. I wish we would have found him on day 1 because this guy could open his own craft drink bar in NYC. Just go!

The hotel itself is nice, probably a 4 star rating. It may not have quite the “wow!” factor of a brand-new resort, and the rooms are a bit worn, but it has a classic charm we came to appreciate. It was very clean and everything else pushed out overall rating to a 5 star.

The food was above average for the price and star level (we’ve been to around 10 all inclusives). La Joya was the best restaurant and had the nicest ambiance by far, with Isla Contoy behind a close second, especially if you sit on the edge overlooking the beach and sunset. We expected La Trattoria (Italian) to be the most romantic and decadent, and we were wrong. Nah K’aax will be the most polarizing for guests, as it’s literally on the beach, your feet in the sand, with a hip vibe (music pretty loud) and “world food.” If I had to do it again, I’d book La Joya twice- and don’t forget to ask for the flaming churros.

The pools varied in temperature. Looking from the beach, the pool on the far left was a bit cold, maybe that’s why few people were in it. The middle was warm, and the one one further right (with the most people) was like bathwater. The service was EXCELLENT at poolside and at the swim up bar- the best we’ve encountered in our travels. We did not wait long for drinks, the servers were patient and made good suggestions, and the drink quality was high- no sugary pre-mix thrown together like in Jamaica.

As stated, the service is top notch. Checking in and out was no problem, and asking for directions or opinions always came with a thoughtful and pleasant response. We did not encounter any time share pushes. Though we encountered the folks that sign you up for excursions, jet skis, and all that quite a bit, they were not pushy at all and quite helpful to be honest (esp. Ivan).

So, who WOULD NOT like Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach? I’d say the only person who would be disappointed would be those who value appearance as their #1 priority. Again, the appearance is 4.5 stars because it’s been around the block a few times, but by no means disappointing! Also remember it’s kid friendly, so most visitors are families, but that should be obvious if you did any research whatsoever. Older teens may be bored, and wine snobs may have trouble finding what they’re looking for.

PRO TIPS:
* If some activity/music from the lobby shows until 11pm bothers you, try to get a room on the 8th floor. However, be warned that we were initially on the 8th floor and the water pressure was very weak!
* If you care for a good cocktail, see Angel at La Joya and go with his suggestions
* Get “The Wrap” if you order poolside- best sandwich we had. The salads were good too
* The day beds at the pool are $100 USD (more on the beach) but come with a 30 min foot massage and bottle of sparkling wine. We splurged on it one day and it was worth it for convenience and to feel pampered
* 5 min walk across the street is Bamboo, where you can get legit massages in a clean, professional environment for HALF the price of the spa. Be careful crossing the road!
* If you’re facing the hotel with the beach at your back, the best part of the beach is on your right. The far left strangely had sharp shells.
* They don’t advertise this, but you can ask for lattes or cappuccinos from your server at the breakfast buffet
* Don’t let seaweed be a factor between hotel zone options- if its seaweed season (typically May-Sept) EVERY HOTEL in the Cancun area will have it on the beach. Don’t think one will not! We travelled in Dec and there was none.
* There are two (2) advantages to booking directly through the hotel- 1) they will shuttle you too and from the airport for free, and 2) you get free ferry tickets (normally $20 per person) to Isla Mujeres, though I only suggest going there if you’re going to do a water-based excursion as just milling around there is not advised).
* We did not pay up for the French restaurant (kids aren’t allowed) but we asked a lot of people’s opinions and they seemed divided 50/50 on whether or not it was worth it. Everyone agreed the portions were very small. Paying up for the VIP club did not seem worth it at all.

Overall, our family was quite pleased, and we felt that we received more than we paid for. After a day of eating, drinking, swimming, and receiving excellent service, we did not care that the hotel was very nice but not brand new.

 

"An amazingly authentic and personal resort - you will leave as family"

No, this isn’t the most modern hotel. However, it does have the most heart. We recently stayed for 4 nights and had a fantastic time. As a self professed hotel snob, I realize that it’s easy to overlook this one. No, it’s not the most updated. No, it doesn’t have the flashiest website. But once you arrive, the food and drinks are amazing and the staff will treat you like family. A special shout out to Antonio “Tony Macaroni” for making us feel like we had a new friend in Cancun. We will be back

 

"Thanksgiving at Grand Fiesta"

Our family usually travels to Riviera Maya but we decided to give the Hotel Zone a try. At first the hotel feels like a city hotel but when you enter your room and take in your ocean view, the city vibe melts away.
We upgraded to Infinite Club for the room upgrade, lounge access and its additional perks. The connecting room layout was spacious for a family of 4. The staff at the lounge was helpful with making dinner reservations and the lounge bartenders served strong drinks.
The pools and beach were steps away from the main lobby. We loved that there was no seaweed and our kids could hang and play in the ocean and easily transition to the pool.
The food was pretty average with the Mexican and Isla Contoy being the best ones that we tried.
Fire show at the beach was a hit and the Mexican show outside was lively.
The tree lighting ceremony was a cool experience. The General Manager gave a presentation and highlighted some future renovations including a new sushi and steakhouse restaurants. I would consider returning when the new restaurants are open.
The spa experience was top-notch and a must-do there.
Game room was fun for our boys who are 9 and 11. Air hockey, pool table, and arcade games.
Also, recommend walking across the street to their mega grocery store Selecto – great selection and prices for beach accessories, clothes and souvenirs.
If you are looking for wide open spaces and mangroves, this is not your hotel. If you want quick access to the beach from the airport and friendly service, Grand Fiesta is your place. Check Costco for promotions for the best value.

 

"Excellent Birthday Weekend"

This was our second visit to this property but we liked it so much that we decided to return. Our first time was still during the pandemic and we couldn’t tell at the time but they were very limited in number of guests and entertainment options. To our delight, things have gotten better since our last visit. The pool that was under construction was now open and they had a new restaurant/beach lounge. The entertainment was also phenomenal this year. The food options were delicious as usual – Isla Contoy is our favorite pick for lunch and La Joya is our favorite pick for dinner.
BUT the main reason we keep coming back is the service and the staff. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable, welcome and relaxed. They remember your drink orders (evem with hundreds of guests) and your names. Special shoutout goes to Jesus & Walter at La Joya and Ricardo & Orlando at Nah Kaax who took extra good care of us and made us feel like family.
This trip was the first time we used the Spa facilities – they blew our mind. They are absolutely gorgeous and have an amazing hydrotherapy program that leaves you feeling like new.

 

"Responder Best all inclusive in Cancun w/world class staff!"

10+ out of 5 stars for customer service (that’s how great they are!!), every person we interacted with from check in staff, restaurant, room service, pool and concierge services were wonderful! We’ve traveled all over the world staying at all types and high end hotels, but never compelled enough to write about it. Fiesta Americana Coral Beach is now our go to for Cancun! Extra special shout out to the staff that and made our stay incredible: Ciriaco Aban, Jacqueline and Omaricio? (sp? sorry if I butchered the name) @ Coral Cafe. Ciricaco went out of his way to make provide recommendations on the area, on the best beverages, and items to try at the cafe and just made us feel so welcomed and at home. We’re full each night from eating at the restaurants, but feel the need just to drop by at the Cafe just to see him for a quick coffee/tea for the conversation with Ciriaco. Manuel, Jesus @ Isa Contoy Restaurant – try the catch of the day (grilled & fried), the filet mignon wrapped in bacon and ceviches (you’ll thank me later =)) Isla Contoy is probably our favorite because of the variety of options (not only fresh seafood, but also tacos, sandwiches, etc…) We went there sometimes twice a day (need reservations for dinner, but lunch was walk in) David and his colleague (sorry we forgot the name but he was partnered w/David and was wearing glasses) @ La Basilic restaurant. Food was delicious! Brenda – Infinite VIP check in. Attentive, friendly, detailed and spent at least an hour with us as she carefully explained all of the benefits and took care of all of our cabana, restaurant, and spa reservations and helped arrange easy and seamless move from our family suite to couple’s suite. Fiesta Americana Coral Beach It’s definitely worth the price tag, as we’re staying (currently on our 4th out of 6 days) and our family are staying in oceanfront family suite and Infinite oceanfront honeymoon suite now that my 2 older kid are off to Ember Shores music festival @ Fiesta America Condesa. Both rooms have amazing views! The rooms are beautiful, clean and worth every penny as this is certainly not the cheapest option, but if you want to have a relaxing vacation with everything already pre-paid and not have to worry about extra costs, all inclusive are totally worth it. We’re so spoiled here @ Coral Beach that no other all inclusive hotels will never live up to it. We’re so sad that we only have 2 days left, but just felt the need to ensure every single staff that we’ve had the pleasure of meeting are recognized. Hotel mgmt, you have world class staff that go the extra mile to show your customers that they are appreciated, and treat like family. We’re sold and will definitely be back every year! We’re so sad that we only have 2 days left

 

"AMAZING! Best vacation ever!"

We had a wonderful experience! We travelled with a group of 12 people and everyone had a great time, not one single issue. Some people from our group have different dietary restrictions and the hotel accommodated every single one (vegan, vegetarian and gluten free). We were celebrating 2 birthdays and 2 anniversaries and they made sure to help us celebrate. The staff goes above and beyond, everyone in my group was so impressed with the service, how clean the hotel is, the amenities, the beach. It was such a relaxing vacation because they really take care of you.

Upon arrival, Lizbeth H. from the front desk took her time to help us assign the rooms exactly were we needed them, she was extremely patient and professional. My dad mentioned that it was my daughter’s birthday and we got an amazing surprise in our room. We had balloons, a doll, crayons, a coloring book and some snacks. It was very very thoughtful. Two of the other couples in our group were celebrating their anniversary and they got a bottle of sparkling wine and cake delivered to their room as a surprise.

Rooms- we were on the 11th floor and the views are just incredible. Also, you can go one floor up and there is this amazing lounge with a bar and snacks at all time. (This is for the infinity level). At that bar, Ahmed makes the most amazing speciality drinks and he is professional and polite all the time.
The rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. They also offer the turndown service and they leave a little chocolate and leave the linens ready for you to go to bed. Housekeeping is great, we didn’t had one issue with the cleanliness of the room. The rooms are not “modern” but they are classic elegance and very clean which is more important to us. They are ALWAYS cleaning, the common areas, outside, you are always going to see cleaning staff taking care of everything.

Food and drinks- We tried several restaurants just not the Italian because I’m not sure I want Italian food in Mexico. Our favorites are the following:
1) Isla Contoy- you get amazing beach view and the food is really good, we got the fish and the shrimp and they were amazing.
2) Sushi place- it is such a relaxing restaurant right on the beach, they have a DJ and a fire show. I loved the sushi, the lobster tacos and the speciality drinks (the presentation is on point)
3) Mexican place- we got chicken mole (amazing!), we tried some crickets, the rom pope dessert. The mariachi band was so fun, they sang Happy Birthday to my daughter and she loved it!
4) Room service – 24 hours- we had breakfast in the room the chilaquiles are great!
5) The coffee place next to the front desk- if you need good coffee just go there- it is soooo good, they have lattes and cappuccinos, they also offer gelatos and soft serve ice cream, candy, variety of cakes and sandwiches.
6) Breakfast buffet- this is great, you can get beach views, our waiter was so attentive, you could ask for anything and he will have it ready for you in a second. We asked for lattes and some berries for my kid to go and he had them ready for us.
7) Pool and beach service- One of our favorites, this is one of the only hotels that offers beach service including food. The spring rolls, wings, tacos, ice cream, everything was great. The waiters at the pool are amazing, I can’t remember all their names but Carlos and Roosevelt were great . If you talk to them before you leave and let them know you are coming back the next day, they would reserve your spot, have it ready for you with umbrellas and towels. They even set up an umbrella next to the water so my daughter could play with all her toys.
Berenice is always on top of everything, making sure you are having a great experience, she was always checking on us and asking if we needed anything.
8) Mini fridge with some drinks and snacks that are restock frequently (sodas, beer, water, chips, cookies, chocolates, etc)

Experiences- we enjoyed the fire show, the live music at the lounge, live violin at the pool, water show but our favorite was the Mexican night. It was such a great experience, with music and live shows. The whole set up was great. They had fun fair games for kids, face painting and lots of treats like cotton candy.

The only outside experience was doing snorkeling, it was amazing! They offer a 1 hr excursion for a very reasonable price I think it was $60 per person or something like that but you only have to walk like 3 mins (still in the hotel property) and they had everything ready for us (New equipment and very knowledgeable staff).

The hotel is HUGE, they have 4 big pools, amazing beach and tons of things to do! Also the location is great, the markets, stores and bars are walking distance (5 mins)

If you can, you should book one of the pool cabanas. You get a 30 mins massage it was soooo relaxing. One of our family members tried the spa and she said it was unbelievable.

Overall it is very difficult to go on family vacations and don’t have anyone complaining about something but this was IT. Everyone on our group had the best time, we have nothing bit positive comments about this hotel and we have already booked for next year.

"Five stars and will be back!!"

trip and I’m so sad to have to have gone home after 2 spectacular weeks! The hotel it’s beautiful and the service is out of this world. I can’t say enough about the excellent restaurants, from Le Basilic (worth every penny) to the Spa dinner (worth every penny). The pools were amazing. I especially enjoyed the center pool. It was the perfect temp and always had something going. Special shout out to Antonio!!! You are amazing, funny and we already miss you!! Please take part in the water aerobics or anything he’s hosting!! Another special shout out to Luis the pool bartender!! Just an amazing bartender and super attentive. He kept me going with amazing drinks and great conversations!! I already miss him too!! There are so many I can mention but two more stand outs are Jahdiel and Floriberto at the breakfast buffet. They were amazingly hospitable and so very kind. I will miss hanging with them each morning! So much fun!! To all of the hotel leadership, everyone was great and amazing but the above mentioned were outstandingly amazing and you have truly excellent examples of hospitality!! Keep up the great work!!!

 

"This was our first visit to Cancun"

This was our first visit to Cancun. The Grand Fiesta Coral Beach was beyond all our expectations. It starts with the staff and their happy, positive attitude in all they do. Their focus is to make us happy, no matter what. The facility and rooms are spotless.The grounds flow to the ocean. There are multiples pools, lagoons, seating areas, three pools side bars with stools in the water, restaurants overlooking the pools and ocean. All food and drinks are included and the bartenders will do their best to make whatever makes you happy. The restaurants were great. Breakfast buffet or table served had a wide range of fruits, rolls, cereals, made to order omelettes, sausages, bacon, and a wide range of cheeses, yogurts, name it and it was there. Entertainment started with the poolside cellist and violinist midday and continued with water aerobics and water polo in one pool at 11AM and 12PM and late into the night with a DJ or live band in the lobby bar. Some dinners did cost extra and were worth the charge. Le Basilic (French) has a 6 course dinner with live piano and even two ballet dancers performing during dinner. the waiter Manuel was a treat with his performing and attention to his diners.The meal was an event that was unexpected and magical. Evening dinner on the beach was also not to be missed. You can tell we thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 8 days. We were impressed by the staff and their genuine joy in making us comfortable and happy. If you can, Go. Period

"Very enjoyable vacation"

We really enjoyed our time at this resort. It was a babymoon and my husbands first time to Mexico and to an all inclusive. We are not crazy COVID people but i mention several elements of COVID below to be aware of ahead of your stay to feel less stressed and prepared. Here are some of the stand out elements of this resort for us.

Shuttle: we arranged airport transportation to and from the resort through the concierge. It was $70 each way so $140 total. We could have had up to 4 people for the same price. It was a private suburban SUV- it was very nice. The driver was timely each way and it was a stress free start and finish to our trip. It was easy to identify the driver at the airport as they had my name on a sign. I emailed the hotel ahead of time and set this up. We paid via credit card once we got to the hotel.

COVID test: you need a negative Covid test to return to the US. Upon check in, the hotel scheduled this for us, on site, the day before our travel. It was complimentary, they made the required copies of our passport for us. The test was timely with no lines and I received our results later that afternoon via email.

COVID insurance: at check in, the hotel offered a $4/day COVID positive insurance. This was in case you tested positive at the end of your stay and couldn’t leave. For a very small fee, we would have been guaranteed a room at an extremely reduced rate – $16?/day at the resort if we by chance tested positive. This seemed like a no brainer decision to us to opt into – which you can only do at arrival, not once you test positive. Luckily we did not have to use it but we paid minimalLy for this reassurance.

COVID precautions: the hotel is pretty strict about masking in public areas (lobby, elevators, hallways). They aren’t aggressive, but it is clearly the expectation. Be prepared with masks but they do have disposable for you. Obviously once sitting at a bar/restaurant or at the pool/beach or generally outside you don’t have to wear them. They do check your temperature and ask your room number at every restaurant and upon entering the hotel lobby should you come/go. I think it was part of their contact tracing protocol. Just something to be aware of.

Spa: this is a world class spa. We aren’t typical spa people but we have had our fair share of massages. This was the best spa experience of our lives. Every spa treatment (there are many options of varying time lengths and prices) includes a hydrotherapy experience as part of the price. This adds 2 hours to your spa experience as a guide takes you through this 10 step experience where you alternate between hot and cold experiences (steam room, mud room, ice room, sauna, hot tubs of varying temperatures), ending in a giant coed hydrotherapy pool. Then you go to your massage. The whole thing took us 4 hours to complete (we weren’t in a rush) and it was a real treat. The massages were great and honestly it felt like we were the only ones there despite that not being the case.

Rooms: all rooms have an ocean view. There is a small mini bar with snacks and drinks that are included in the price of your room and room service is timely and available 24/7 no extra charge. All rooms have a balcony, the bed was very comfortable and the room overall was sizable with a couch and a table area. I needed wifi for work for a few short meetings and it was reliable enough to stream a virtual meeting without issue. The bathroom was nice too but I felt the tub could use a refresh but by no means was a real issue. Water pressure was great and the included toiletries in the shower are name brand and full size.

Food: we are foodies so I was a little worried on the food front. However, we were really pleasantly surprised and felt it was up to par for an all inclusive. Service was always top notch at the restaurants buffet or sit down. I never felt like they were short staffed.

For breakfast, we always went to the buffet. Our strategy was to sit inside and to go early for the most enjoyable experience. Lots of options including a smoothie bar, lots of Mexican, plenty of American options, some custom stations too but it was the same every day- which was fine with me.

For lunch, they have pool/beach menus and one of the restaurants are open during the day. The secret is the awesome little authentic Mexican tent that sets up by the pool area. I ate tacos Al pastor every day. They have a few other options. The most authentic lunch option for sure. The line was always 10-15 deep but it went quickly. We had a bad experience at the lunch restaurant on our first day. We sat outside on the edge overlooking the water- but got totally attacked by birds. Just sit on the inside, you should be good.
For dinner, you can go back to the buffet which rotates cuisines each night. We never went, but I’m sure it would have been fine. We made dinner reservations each night at the restaurants. Do this right when you check in, as they recommend. Reservations do fill up and you won’t get your preferred time. The best is La Joya (Mexican) which we went to twice and Basilica (French) which is $50/per person extra. We went for our anniversary night.. it’s a prefixed 8 course menu with wine pairing. Apparently this hotel used to not be all inclusive and recently switched over likely due to survival after covid. These 2 restaurants are top rated with diamond awards and still maintained their excellence. We also enjoyed La Contoy which has more seafood and is the same location of the lunch restaurant but didn’t love Havana (Argentinian). The best part of Havana was the dancing duo – they were pretty good!
Beach/pool: I choose beach over pool any day. The pool is heated and has entertainment so it tends to be a little louder. Plenty of chairs but I noticed it got a bit more competitive for chairs once the weekend hit. I’m an early bird and enjoyed just setting up around 9 each day and had no problems. There are plenty of tables and umbrellas that can be set up for you.
Kids: this is a kid friendly but by no means kid centered resort. If you want to bring your kids- it’s a good option. If you are a couple- the kids are not overwhelming enough to be annoying, they are just noticeable. We spoke to a couple who had kids and I was impressed with what she was telling me about the security of the kid zone (and seemed to have a lot of options that her kids wanted to participate in) and the option to hire a nanny provided by the hotel for $10/hr for her younger kid that was still in diapers. The kid zone staff promptly called the parents when there was a small issue. For older kids- there is plenty of pool entertainment to participate in and there is a cool little game room where everything is free- arcade games, table games, etc.

Tips: the only cash we spent was tipping the staff. They have an ATM on site. We felt compelled to tip almost everywhere but that’s just us and perhaps an American norm. Over the course of the week, we spent about $200-$300 on tips.

We never left the resort (except for a walk) or really did any excursions but they could have been scheduled on site. You could walk to an area on the beach for jet skis, SUP, snorkel gear, ferry to Cozumel/Isla Mujeres, etc. but it just wasn’t anything we felt like doing. You could also book professional photos on site which we saw a few families do. The pools and beaches are lifeguarded. When it is windy, the current is strong and they are always pulling people away from rocky edges of the swimming area. There are also night time shows/entertainment, a shopping market that sets up on the weekend, wine and tequila tastings you could sign up for (free). It’s truly what you want to make it.
We would definitely come back to this resort.

"CONS: and literally cons…"

Immediately after checking in, we were sat down with, Vanessa, in what we thought was going to be an introduction and maybe a glance at the hotel’s amenities and features, when it was really the start of a sales funnel that was clearly strategized. We were taken advantage of and mislead by complementary massage for our “honeymoon”…. Under the assumption that we were going to get a brochure or something, but it was a 1 on 1 sit down about joining some sort of time share membership for at least 30 minutes. The sales men, Adrian, said “No one forced you.” When we kindly informed them we didn’t know why we were there for. Then Adrian called Vanessa over and confronted her in front of us which really made things really awkward. Afterwards we went to find the manager but got the supervisor instead, Carlos, to give some constructive feedback on how a sales pitch on honeymooners first morning or anybody’s first day should be saved for a later day and better time. Carlos’ response was an “Okay..?” with shoulder shrugs, showing zero empathy and care. Then asked “What do you want?” We informed him that we didn’t want anything! We just didn’t want anybody to be deceived in the near future. To be clear… Adrian and Carlos was unprofessional. They put all the weight on Vanessa’s shoulders and that’s just not good work ethic within a team. This is a bit concerning… What happens behind closed doors!!?? Now let’s get to the better part!
PROS: and literally professionals…
This stay went from 0 to dream vacation in 1 hour.
All from the start of the breakfast buffet to the last dinner at La Joya.
The pool and beach staffs — extraordinary hard workers. They are there to refresh your drinks and offer food before you finish. Mind you, we are in the hot and humid sand and they’re just happy as a clam. Every single one was amazing. Not one complaint.

Entertainment/activity staff — My forever amigos. You gotta play futbol with them! – David
La Basilic- 5 star service and exquisite food with very knowledgeable staffS. The food was fantastic and the entertainment was beautiful. These two guys NICASIO and DAVID are outstanding and made our experience truly memorable.
Romantica beach dinner — feet in the sand with a gentle breeze and the sound of the ocean and what better ways to top it off with; incredible servers. We forgot your names but you served us on December 7th at 7:30 in the middle cabana. Management please give these guys recognition 🙂
The Coral cafe — Shout out to Martin/Irwin. Fun guy and very professional. Please come see him with his Fuego trick.
La Joya restaurant — WOW….just Wow. Finally some music from this beautiful country; sung and played by a magnificent Mariachi band. The most well rounded experience in the hotel, in our opinion. Special Thanks to the Mariachi band, MARIANO, GUMER, and WALTER! From the service to conversations; we love their energy and infectious kindness that made this trip remarkable.

"You get many vacations, but only ONE honeymoon---AND THEY MADE IT COUNT!"

May of 2020 was to be our wedding, the reception, and the honeymoon but it became obvious we had to postpone the events to the fall. In the meantime, my wife and I had a private ceremony in May (just the two of us and our minister) but little did we know that would become the only ceremony. Due to never being able to have the large wedding or reception, I wanted the honeymoon location to be a surprise to my wife—so there would still be some anticipation that a couple would typically feel with getting married. We had booked another resort that had impressive reviews, but I was finding too many reviews about “damp” and “overly warm” rooms. I had tried to reach that resort by phone, directly and to the corporate office, but no one would ever answer. I had sent emails, multiple of them, and no one ever responded. Ultimately we cancelled with a week to go and found the GRAND FIESTA AMERICANA CORAL BEACH. Honestly, it was more money—money we really didn’t have after losing thousand of dollars to wedding vendors who still refuse to offer refunds on services they couldn’t offer. The staff at the GRAND FIESTA AMERICANA CORAL BEACH absolutely went out of their way to make us forget all of those issues!

My wife and I are professional travelers, we know what service is and is not. The level of service the staff at this resort provides should be an example to what service is and what hard workers are! EVERYONE was always working hard, going out of their way to pamper us. We never felt so appreciated, that a resort was so honored to have us. As we were celebrating our honeymoon, they surprised us multiple times with special desserts, an off menu course, making sure we had the best room, the best tables, the best reservations, and the overall best experience. You could not get on an elevator without the staff opening them for us and selecting our floor, providing hand sanitation, even serving food. They were non-stop cleaning! The experience was as good as it gets!

We booked the 1 BEDROOM MASTER SUITE and had the most amazing views! The room was LARGE, very comfortable (although the bed shakes), always clean, always well-stocked, and was on the very end so we could not be disturbed. We had booked the LA BASILIC restaurant and what an experience to meet the chef, the ballet dancers, and the dinner experience was first class! We had booked in the La Joya (Mexican) restaurant and the Mariachi Band had sung us a private song.

when you look at the reviews here, it almost reads too good to be true. I am happy to say that the reviews are real!
I stayed here in an INFINITE (VIP) room, and it is so worth it!
checking into this property is very easy and safe, and it is in the best part of the hotel zone near all the beach bars,clubs, and some shops.
The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms are huge and pristine. I have never seen a TV so big in a hotel room. The staff is so amazing and kind and attentive. The food, including room service was amazing! My partner is a vegetarian and they were so nice and accommodating to adjust their preset menus for her. The beach area and staff were great! The pools are huge and there are lifeguards at both the pool and the beach. At this property, they push the elevator buttons for you and also give you hand sanitizer when you walk out of the elevator. The entire staff is wearing masks, and most are wearing masks AND face shields.
There was no sea weed on the beach!

"Best food and service for an all inclusive"

We just spent an unforgettable and wonderful week at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach.

Definitely will return.

We felt safe. They took every precaution and went above and beyond to keep us safe. For example every employee wore a mask with a face shield.

First, we felt safe. They took every precaution they could to keep their employees and patrons safe. Distancing during meals was most appreciated, they kept empty tables between dining guests.

Second, the food was amazing. Their focus on the authentic mexican was appreciated and throughly enjoyed. Others try to give you half assed american and half assed mexican food, which ends up being horrible. Well at Grand Fiesta they whole ass mexican food and it was truly the highlight of our vacation. Every hotel has a pretty view with nice ocean waters. Its their focus on food that makes them better than the other all inclusive hotels. Now they do have hamburgers, hotdogs and sandwiches, they were good and I without hesitation would order them, which we did, Hotdogs where better than any I can think of back in the United States. But do yourself a favor and try their mexican food.

Third, the service was exemplary from Ciriaco in the cafe and his flaming mayan coffee. Azael and antonio with his tequila tasting adventure (ask for a tequila tasting you won’t be disapointed). Gaspar at the pool always taking care of us. Benigno in the isla bar (gracias Benigno por los camarones aquachiles, WOW!) Even Guillermo the ever present manager always their making sure everything was going well. Ozman in the vina del mar(con sus huevos rancheros y frijoladas) Paola in the grand club along with Marcos. I wish I could remember everyones name. We were catered to. Pampered and Spoiled by a wonderful staff.

We have been to many hotels in cancun, any worth their salt are pretty with wonderful rooms, with nice beach and view.

What makes Grand Fiesta worth considering is their Food and Service that is head and shoulders above all others.

"Top notch in every single aspect"

I have visited this resort and written many reviews about FAGCB, but this is a little different. We stayed at the resort from October 24th to the 29th 2020. Right in the middle of our vacation Hurricane Zeta hit the Yucatan peninsula. We have never been on a vacation when a hurricane was hitting the resort area. I am so happy that we stayed at FAGCB while visiting Cancun again. The management ( Mr. Gurrola the GM and Mr. Garza the VIP club manager) were spectacular and handled this situation like true pros. They handled everything so professionally as did the ENTIRE staff of the hotel. We were very apprehensive about being caught in the middle of this very powerful storm and everyone really helped to keep us calm and safe. The entire staff when into protection mode and the ball room was set up as a shelter if we needed it. As it turned out we were able to stay in our rooms thankfully as the storm weakened as it approached. It was still a very powerful storm that caused some damage. I can’t thank the entire Club level staff enough for keeping us calm and providing stellar service throughout the storm and our stay. No better feeling than walking into the club lounge and feeling like you arrived to your second home. Fernanda, Marcos, Berenice, Armado ,Juan and everyone else on the Club level are just simply the best at what they do. A huge thank you to the rest of hotel staff that had breakfast served ( with a smile) at 8am the day after the storm hit, the housekeeping staff having our suite cleaned by 10am the next morning after the storm and of course the pool/grounds crew that spent hours having the pool and beach area ready for us the day after the storm. That’s why we stay at the FAGCB…….. the best in Cancun! We will see you again in February!!

"I'll definitely come back here again"

This place rolled out the red carpet for us. I felt like a King, no joke.. The amount of extra things they did to make us feel comfortable and to have a good time, it was special. I’ll for sure go back again. the staff was amazing as well.

"Beautiful resort despite hurricane"

First of all this is my first time at this Beautiful resort and I am very sad I didn’t ’ get a lot more time to enjoy the beautiful amenities due to the weather. We arrived on 10/1 and so did tropical storm Gamma. So there was that. It was my husband’s birthday and we go to mexico approximately 3 to 4 x a year just not in the fall. ( Not again either) then we had some beauty and fun by the wonderful beach and they have one of the nicest beaches in Cancun. Very perfect swimming conditions. Very nice snorkeling too! Not too rough like many areas in hotel zone and down in Riviera Maya water is darker so this is truly perfection! Pool is fabulous with waiters to serve you food and drink at any moment! No problem ever getting a lounge chair or umbrella or just anything you ask for!! These people are there to get you whatever!! Truly amazing staff!! Poolside menu is yummy!! I loved my fish and chips and the hubs was eating tacos until he was looking like one!! Several kinds of tacos too, just so you dont get bored. :)Guacamole and chips thats very fresh ohh it is good!! Very fresh margaritas one after another before yours is gone they watch your glass! Might want to fast before you go because you can gain a few… just saying…

Then we noted the hurricane coming… night before we contemplated flying home… but alas our travel company assured us, we would be fine, “ these hotels are built for this” and by then we could not get a United flight out.. the next am was already too late. The inevitable came… with a letter under our door.. we would be evacuating to a shelter inland which was ultimately not so great ( I personally was more terrified of the large lizard in my room more than the storm but thats because I am a tad abnormal) and somewhat scary, lots of red ant bites still ouch, BUT!! Let me tell you, the General Manager and Adriana, his helper and she actually is administrative, so not to be called a “ helper” also were SO SO AWESOME Along with ALL the Staff!! I actually was getting sick going into the hurricane and had a fever starting a day ahead so was dreading this. I am an RN and knew I was possibly in need of an antibiotic but did not have one. As I got sicker throughout the 24 hrs in the childrens school lock down we were at, I weerily went to the Manager and stated to him I felt feverish and needed an MD. I didnt want to bother him because he had so much to deal with at the time. He immediately took notice and he and the staff took swift care of me. Transporting us quickly and efficiently asap soon-after and even paying for my MD visit and medication! Adriana went to the hospital pharmacy to get it for me as all pharmacias were closed. They changed my room to an upgraded suite which was lovely ( this was due to another reason) and delivered my medications to me that evening after we got back to resort!!

So impressive!! I know that was a long story but I wanted to share how above and beyond these people go to care for each and everyone. I was feeling much better by that night and could enjoy some food at the dinner before getting aboard a long flight the following day. It was no fault of theirs that a hurricane occurred. They really did a great job trying to make us feel comfortable while keeping us safe in a cat 4 hurricane! How Scary!! Oh and that cute nice guy at the front desk, Gabriel, with blue eyes, that upgraded our room, Thank you, I loved room 338! From room 317! Also the food is phenomenal and I had the best Chicken Caesar Salad, and Clam Chowder down in the restaurant that I have ever tasted… no joke, also the La joya chicken moule was great and my husbands steak was fabulous, not to mention the last night steak and lobster buffet.

To answer peoples questions, the buffets are open, however the employees hand you the food you ask for from behind the plexiglass and it is covered and all precautions are taken meaning you wear your mask when up and around in lobby etc, just not while eating or unless you want to while eating? Doubt that… and no all restaurants are not open at once they alternate nights and yes reservations are needed for some just see the concierge on first night there! Its great food for all! Enjoy!

"Awesome, Incredible, Going back!"

First of all I would like to say when you arrive you are greeted as old friends and when you leave you feel like family with all hotel staff from the manager Alberto to the gentleman moping floors!

We went thru hurricane Delta with this establishment and had to be evacuated let me say it was a little scary at first as anything over a grade level 3 all hotels evacuate to s shelter, Govt. orders.

The hotel mgr and staff not only stayed with us the entire shelter experience they did not sleep for a day and half, staying up to make sure we were always fed and also to make sure we were safe, we were treated like family and felt secure and safe entire time in shelter.

When we got back all days lost were accommodated or refunded and the party began, they had music for us, the food was incredible the whole experience was just a dream come true, me and my wife Gerlie have traveled the world and have had great service but nothing compares to Alberto, Patricio, Gerrad, Eva, all staff eagerly waiting to help you, even bringing your plates to your table form the buffet, hands down the best experience we have ever had traveling, thank you for making us feel as family!

"Birthday Trip"

Let me start by saying I LOVE the staff here! We arrived Monday and honestly had a terrible flying experience. We originally planned on visiting another country and missed our flight and rebooked here very last minute. Upon the minute we pulled up, the staff was beyond welcoming! We checked in effortlessly and were informed about the hurricane coming but at the time it was not category 3. We arrived around 10:30 and witnessed a beautiful firework show when we got in our room and were also able to order room service. We woke up the following morning and were informed that we would have to evacuate due to the upcoming hurricane approaching and as a Californian, this was not something I expected or knew how to prepare for at all. We were able to go spend some time at the beach and eat breakfast before we had to be relocated for the hurricane. The entire time we dealt with the shelter in place contingency, general manager Alberto G. Was not only amazing at keeping us informed, but he also was available to answer any and every question I had (& trust me I had a lot)! We relocated during the hurricane and the hotel staff did an AMAZING job taking care of us. While we were in a situation that no one would have been able to foresee or prevent, they did their absolute best to make sure that we were fed, hydrated and most importantly protected from the storm. When we came back to our hotel we had a great buffet dinner and enjoyed the remainder of our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I can’t wait to come back. Angel T. at the front desk & Adriana who was with us at the university we sheltered in gave us exceptional service as well as everyone else. Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach is my favorite hotel in Cancun and I will DEFINITELY be back!

"Wonderful"

I love the location and the staff and the pool is beautiful ! Even though we went though a hurricane, the staff went above and beyond accommodating us even as we had to relocate. The entire staff made me feel sad & did the best they could to help us enjoy our vacation. I’ll DEFINITELY be back

"Absolutely marvelous experience"

I visited with a family of 4 and a preschooler during the pandemic and the experience was exceptional. Room service all inclusive 24 hrs, bedsheets and room cleaned twice a day including turn down service, delicious food and drinks were available all day til 6pm with waitress/ waiters at your disposable anytime of the day. Beds near the beach or pool were included without extra charge, drinks were delicious, cleanliness and check in was procedural and professional, the language of the staff was very respectful and cordial at all times with any staff you encounter. The hotel itself was beyond beautiful with sculptures and designs that ensures a royal experience. The rooms and beds were comfy with beachside view including a motorized station within walking distance (2min most) for jet ski rides and more! The only discomfort was the beds were humid throughout stay as if they were sprayed with disinfectants so that made our sleep a bit uncomfortable. This could be an issue with the humidity in the room with the a/c. They just suggested changing the sheets before we sleep which we always forgot to do anyway. They had a variety menu and different styled dinner occasions for example, a dinner buffet by the beach was beautiful! Every night was anther theme like a Mexico themed in a lovely restaurant, not to mention their 5 restaurants in the hotel! Absolutely marvelous experience

"Wonderful & safe!"

Just got back from a wonderful 5-night stay over the July 4th weekend. Expectations exceeded at this lovely resort. We had booked months ago, and, as the COVID numbers keep inching up here in the US, debated on whether we should still go … I am SO GLAD we did! Like others, they upgraded us to an all-inclusive package — they have recently moved from their passport-model to an all-inclusive model, which includes all drinks and all food. Incredible! This was such a great value.

The facilities are excellent, and the pictures don’t even do it justice. Note that the gym, spa pools and saunas are closed right now. We had massages — they were great, and super safe! They require you to wear a mask, and the masseuse does as well (plus gloves). Not all the restaurants are open every day, but that may change as more guests arrive. When we were there, we saw more people arrive — but still, it was nice to have do much of the hotel to ourselves!

The service is stand-out phenomenal. ALWAYS top notch. The servers were checking on us constantly when were by the pool, and kept us well stocked on food and drinks. Same at the restaurants, and pretty much everywhere we walked in the hotel. When you approach the elevators, there’s a lady / assistant assigned to each elevator who greets you, pushes the buttons for you, and offers you hand sanitizer. You actually can’t walk anywhere without being offered, or in near reach of, hand sanitizer.

The only suggestions that I would make is to (1) have an ATM on the premises and (2) have a way to tip the servers! We tried to always carry cash, but sometimes we didn’t and wish that there was a way we could have added the tip to our room. They deserve that and more!

To anyone concerned about safety during COVID times — don’t be. I actually felt safer here than I did back in the states. Everyone is wearing a mask, your temperature is checked constantly and bottles of hand sanitizer appear from every corner. The restaurant near the pool is open-air and always open, and the low occupancy rate keeps all the guests the appropriate distance apart. I’ve already recommend this resort to friends!!

"2nd time visit - 1st Grand Club Visit - March 7th - 12th"

This is our second visit to this hotel. We chose to do the Grand Club with our 3 teens. We were very happy with our choice. When you walk in they bring you to the 12th floor for check in. You will be met with delicious snacks and beverages and friendly service. Our adjoining rooms were just as beautiful as last year. The room are spacious with either a king bed or 2 queen beds and each room has a seating area. The food on the 12th floor is limited but beautifully presented. Every day they had a different theme and we were able to make a meal of it. The only bad part is our daughter and I have severe food allergies and dietary restrictions, so this was not the best option for us much of the time. The hotel was willing to work with us and satisfy our needs to accomodate us and we truly appreciate this. It made our stay that much better! Alejandro in the Grand Club by the pool/ocean made the BEST drinks ever and always has such a wonderful smile and was always happy to see us. Christopher, Roberto and Osvan were also amazing to us. We love this place and look forward to returning next year.

Wow – where to begin!   I can’t thank you enough for your wonderful hospitality during our stay.

This was one of our best vacations and birthday celebrations we’ve enjoyed in many years!

From the moment we arrived and throughout our stay, we were greeted by friendly & gracious staff.

The service at the resort is amazing & everyone went above and beyond to make us feel so special.

Our suite was nothing short of spectacular and the views from our balcony were stunning.  The color of the ocean is indeed mesmerizing and this special shade of blue is only found in Cancun!

Our welcome amenity was so nice – we love cheese and the red wine was a perfect choice to complement our snack.

The birthday celebration  / amenity on our last evening was fabulous!  John was not expecting a thing – and when we walked in and he saw the bottle of champagne and birthday cake – his expression was priceless.  Thank you for this wonderful surprise!

The daily breakfast buffet was the perfect way to start the day.  There was so much to choose from and we enjoyed something new every day.  I also loved the fresh smoothie bar – a special treat for such a large buffet & so many good choices.  Thank you for including this with our stay – it was fantastic!

The spa was over the top and we both agreed our massage was one of the best we’ve ever enjoyed.  The massage rooms are beautifully appointed and the hydrotherapy experience prior to our treatment was so unique.

I loved the steam room and the clay room although I must say I didn’t want to get in the cold whirlpool!  So impressed and now we are really spoiled!

The opportunity to stay on the Grand club level elevated  our experience to extraordinary!   Outstanding service and we enjoyed the nice assortment of snacks / beverages offered in the lounge throughout the day.

I don’t recall ever staying at a resort that also offers  separate club service on the beach.  The lounge chairs / cabanas were so comfortable & the waiters were incredible!  We’d love to  give a special shout out to Amado – he took such good care of us and they all work so hard.

We are very sad to be home!  It’s cold, rainy and we have snow in the forecast.

I’m going to look at our beautiful pictures and pretend we are sitting in our lounge chairs watching the sunset!

"Extremely Impressed and I have not even left yet!!!"

Let me start off by saying that I travel for a living and I have stayed at some of the finest properties from Paris to London,Hong Kong, Dubai…you name it! I love to workout at the gym on my vacations and I also love to visit the spa. And, of course eat lots of great food!!!
The room is very important to me, but the hotel property and amenities are what bring me back to a property for a return visit.
This gets me to The Grand Americana Coral Beach. My expectations were not only met, they were exceeded on a daily basis. The service was exquisite. The front desk check in, the servers and restaurant hosts, the pool and beach staff who were constantly available with a smile and ready to take great care of their guests. Housekeeping who kept room 920 always in tip top shape clean and beautiful always. The staff all this property take pride in their work and it shows immensely. The gym was absolutely spectacular! Always immaculately clean with every machine you could dream of and on top of that there was always a wide variety of fresh juices and coffee and tea! We also made a visit to the spa for a treatment and that too was out of this world! I am very familiar with resort spas and this is a spa you must see to believe. Absolutely beautiful and the therapists who worked on me and my partner were both so loving and professional and great at their craft! One was named Marella I forget the other but she worked on Anthony Pisano at 4pm on Saturday the 9th. The did a great body scrub. The food was all excellent too! We are mostly down at the beach because we were so comfortable enjoying ourselves. Please ensure this message gets to the general manager of the hotel so they know whatever they are doing is working. Staying at this hotel was no different then staying at a Ritz Carlton or a Four Seasons except it is a much better value. I will now be a life long guest and I can’t wait to book my next trip back! I’m fact I think I am going to have my partners birthday at The Fiesta Americana next month at the end of March and come right back! Job well done to all of the staff and thank you for a memorable, hospitable and overall fabulous stay!

"Exceeded our family’s expectations- Wonderful & a great value"

We had a short, but completely wonderful, stay here in early January. Everything about this resort exceeded our expectations by far- from check-in with the very kind Lisbeth, to the huge and immaculate pool, to the fabulous customer service.

I can’t say enough about the service we received; it was incredible on every level and exceeded that of 4- and 5-star resorts we have visited elsewhere: dining, room service, housekeeping, poolside. Any request we made was promptly addressed, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming to my husband and our 4-year old son.

My favorite parts of the trip:

1) The brunch buffet: Incredible food and service!! I am still dreaming of it. So many choices- from traditional Mexican cuisine and pastries, to miso soup and lox. Fresh tropical fruit, a smoothie bar, mimosas and fresh-squeezed juice. Everything we tried was of exceptional quality and service was top-notch.

2) Poolside service: We spent many hours at the gigantic and very clean (and warm) pool. The tacos and drinks were delicious (habanero salsa was fabulous), towel service was great, and when there was a sudden rainstorm, the staff brought out dry towels and kid-sized slippers for my young son to wear inside.

3) The on-site kids club: My son spent a couple of hours here so my husband and I could enjoy some one-on-one time by the pool. My son had a blast. The staff were so kind and attentive… he didn’t want to leave. They even ordered him his favorite lunch, a cheese quesadilla.

In summary, this was a dream trip for us that I only wish had been longer. Gorgeous ocean views from our huge and immaculate suite; sugar sand beach and warm, clear water. We will definitely return for the sunshine and food… but most of all for the lovely staff who made our trip so special and memorable. Muchas gracias!

The room was spacious and very clean. While we heard the noise from pool, the view was splendid.

The restaurants, especially Le Basilic, as a 5 diamond restaurant, offered beverage, cuisine, and service of the first class. Especially the desserts couldn’t be better.

Also breakfast at Viña del mar was delicious, waiters were friendly and offered good service.

While we got caught by traffic jam at the Saturday night as this hotel is located on the leading edge of the hotel zone,

There is a big supermarket just across the street, and I think here is a good hotel to stay.

High end Hotel, amazingly clean and beautiful very well kept, the restaurants and the food, the pool the beach the service the staff I can keep talking and talking and talking! I have stayed at Hotels all over the world and this Hotel is in the top 5 if not in the Top 3 Hotels I’ve ever stayed at! The Room the View are all spectacular! This Hotel get more than 10 for sure! We stayed 8 days we consider this vacation as one of the best ever and it was because of the Hotel that we stayed in!I can’t even find a single thing that I didn’t like!

有能で気が利く日本人コンシェルジュの方が居てくれたおかげで英語が苦手な私にとって素敵な滞在になりました、やはり日本人スタッフが居ると居ないでは物凄く大きく違います。 またホテルの玄関にはメキシコ、アメリカ、日本の３ヶ国だけの国旗が掲揚され日本人顧客に力を入れている事を知れせてくれます。 部屋やホテルの施設、プール、プライベートビーチともに清掃状態も良く快適に過ごせました。 問題が有るのはシャワーや浴槽に入れるお湯の温度調節が難しく５日間の滞在中あまり上手く行きませんでした。 次回、カンクンに行く機会が有るならば再度宿泊したいと思います。

She was exceedingly kind, pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful and she created conditions for us to remember our stay at The Grand Fiesta Americana Corral Beach Hotel as the best ever experience in celebrating our marriage’s anniversaries and to want now to come on a regular basis.

Also, as a supervisor myself, who is fully aware of the intricacies of choosing, training, maintaining and promoting meriting staff members within the organization, I want to commend you as a director and all your supervisors for having created such an excellent team, which from Ms. Daniela, to the cleaning staff, security, life guards and valets, have shown a stellar level of professional skills and courtesy, beyond just doing a job and actually treating their respective professions as vocations.

"Cancun Birthday"

I chose this hotel after weeks of searching then shortlisting due to its location, rooms and overall ratings by other travellers. On arrival we were greeted at the lobby with moist towels and welcome drinks. The towels were needed due to the mid afternoon arrival and heat from the sun. Check-in was quick, just the usual paperwork and off to our room. The room was clean, well laid out with a lovely view of the ocean from the 8th floor. Our 1st night we ordered room service. The meal was tasty, arrived within 30 mins of placing the order and was delivered by a polite and well trained staff member. This was the theme during the entire stay. Staff members are courteous ,polite and well trained with 5 star customer service. We had breakfast at the buffet everyday of our stay which included a wide variety of local fruit and Mexican dishes-loved the pork. Sleep quality at the resort was 5 out of 5, moreover our turndown service was twice a day. The hotel is located at the end of the Cancun strip close to restaurants and a vibrant night life that Cancun is well known for, additionally there is a bus stop located outside along with cabs. The Spa experience (part of her birthday package) was relaxing and it entailed a hydro-therapy treatment that allowed my girlfriend and I to unwind and rejuvenate our skin. My 1st trip to Cancun and this hotel was extremely pleasing to say the least. My return to this hotel is almost guaranteed on the next visit.

"Over The Top Hotel! Best Stay Ever!"

My husband and I liked the reviews –thank goodness people do share! The hotel is beyond expectations. I thought the restaurants were priced pretty high until we ate there! They provided more than we expected (hors doerves and entertainment!) and the decor : fabulous. The pool is pristine, and has a couple of swim up bars and other areas easy to lounge in for kids as well as adults. The ocean view is spectacular and we enjoyed the lounge chairs and beach–just minute walk from the pool. Oh, and the room service breakfast: one meal is enough for 2 people so we shared one every morning. Lovely, lovely. My new happy place!

As you first walk into the hotel you’re in awe with all the fresh floral arrangements, cold towel and refreshing beverages (lemonade & hibiscus). You are then greeted with friendly faces and helpful staff! I walk into my very spacious room that overlooks the ocean and pool (what a dream). You have housekeeping and turn service everyday! Some of the fantastic amenities I used were the spa which is the largest spa in Latin America (a must try is the hydro therapy). The gym which greets you fresh fruit, coffee, tea, water at every station and scented cold towels all over looking the ocean! My 10 year old son had a blast at the kids club making pizza at the cooking class but if you want to do the kids club at night I recommend you scheduling that the day before. I booked 2 excursions with the kiosk inside with MARTIN who highly recommended going to XICHEN & Cenote Ik Kil and Tulum & Xel Ha both breath taking and unique in their own way (bring water shoes and a water proof cell phone holder). But lastly I want to say a huge thank you to LEONARDO and NICASIO DARWIN who made my family and I feel so welcomed, their kindness hospitality and helpfulness made me feel like family. Staff members like them made me want to go back to the delicious buffet every day and sit in the areas they were at just to converse. The 2 restaurants I ate inside were Isla Contoy which had delicious fresh seafood eating over the ocean, sad to say I forgot our waiters name but he recommended the dogfish which was out of this world (he’s from Veracruz where they eat this all the time). The last restaurant we ate at was La Joya, I had the chef’s special beef shank with mole tacos (easily enough for 2 people), this was another amazing experience with a live mariachi looks like cherry blossom trees covered in lights and best of all child care inside the restaurant!!!With all these amazing experiences I will be coming back and recommending everyone here. It’s not worth it going to an all inclusive place where you have low quality food and cheap alcohol! I hope this helps and if you have any questions you are more than welcome to send me a message! "Amazing Resort - highly recommend"

This resort was perfect for us – relaxing, clean, comfortable. The pool and beach are close to each other and the pool temperature was amazingly comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, you could always find service or help when you needed it. The Grand club was very good – note that it includes all drinks and tapas-style food “offerings” at only two special sections of the resort throughout the day – so you have to get up and walk over to that area to get the “free” items or find staff who will send over the correct server to take your drink order by the pool or beach – those areas are staffed with super friendly attentive people and the food and drinks are very good quality. Kids eat free but what wasn’t clear to us until it was explained after my questions is that you get one kids meal free for each adult entree you pay for – if you don’t order and adult entree you have to pay for the kids meal, but they are super cheap ~$5 each. The kids food offerings were perfect, my kids ate burgers with fries and quesadillas and corn dogs and the free “offerings” in the grand club easily filled us up for breakfast and dinner in a quiet location far from the commotion of the on-site restaurants. The kids club is totally amazing – we got a special offer as part of our booking to get unlimited access which means you can drop your kids off any time of day for any amount of time during business hours – they loved it and the staff were very interactive and friendly. I felt that my kids (5 and 7) were safe and well entertained and they even asked to go to kids club without my prompting. The spa is amazingly beautiful, looking forward to more spa services next time. I would recommend to go and plan to stay on the resort if you are with a family – the downtown area nearby seems to be set up for folks without kids and the vendors are beyond pushy. Overall this was a very relaxing vacation where we felt pampered the entire time for a super reasonable price.

"Amazing Family Vacation"

I’ve been to some 15 or 16 hotels in cancun and this one exceeded our expectations. I’m in the middle of an 8 night vacation with my wife and two kids (12 and 14). Let me start by saying that the property is huge and the grounds are impecable, the pool is very big and with service poolside (drinks and snacks). Every now and then a person comes by and offers you some fruit or a cold and very refreshing icicle.
Beach area is amazing and very very clean and with great service also, righ by the beach they have water toys for free (kayacs) and waverunners for rent. We fell in love with the room, we had a jr suite reservation but there was a convention or something and we asked if we could get an upgrade AND WE DID, we got a master suite (wow). The beds are very comfortable, super clean, HUGE bathroom with double vanity, separate shower and a jacuzzi tub. The amenities are very nice and the maid service come’s by twice, just to make sure everything is ok.
There are many restaurants nearby but we just loved the food variety they offer here.
We tried the breakfast buffet and breakfast in the room, also we ordered room service dinner 3 times (burgers, club sandwich, desserts, pizza).
The room has a nespresso coffee machine, great for coffee addicts like me.
You’ll love waking up early because at dawn the sun is right in front of the hotel (they have blackout curtains so don’t worry if you line getting up late).
The staff is very friendly and always helpfull.
You get beach towells that you trade for clean towells when you come back from the pool or beach. They also provide towells for your external tours or excursions.
Bottom line, this is the best hotel in cancun, you hace everything you need here for a complete vacation.

"Excellent Customer Service"

I truly appreciated the staff members, they were very friendly, had a strong sense of urgency and extremely customer service oriented. They took notice of acknowledging any concerns or questions we had. My wife booked the facility under the impression it was all inclusive based on Orbitz website, we come to find it wasn’t true. However the staff at the Hotel made up for that error on Orbitz part. They saw the disappointment on my wife’s face and immediately upgraded our room to a large beautiful suite overlooking the ocean. Upon finding out it was my birthday, May 5, they went well beyond measures to show appreciation. I received a beautiful and delicious chocolate cake, balloons, and champagne. Overall, this hotel was very clean, the landscaping upkeep was greatly maintained and the customer service was spectacular! This was an exceptional trip, my wife and i had an amazing time and we have everyone at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun to thank.

"Not just for families"

This hotel is superb and it offers so much more to all than just families. The spa is impressive, perhaps the best I’ve visited (in the past 5 years I’ve visited perhaps a couple dozen of the top 100 hotels in T+L). The food is extremely good, service is superb, impeccable facilities, a true five star experience in a traditional luxury Mexican resort. The beach is perhaps the best in all of Cancun, my children swam and made sand castles without any trouble. Distances are very reduced, forget about the monster Riviera Maya hotels where going anywhere takes 20 minutes. This hotel is perfectly walkable and longest distance is perhaps 4 minutes from the beach to your room. Location is also incredible as it is in the very heart of Cancun. Valet parking service was great, longest wait was 2 minutes. Congratulations to Fiesta Americana management for preserving classic Mexican hospitality, a world heritage on the brink of extinction.

"Not all-inclusive, but all-EXCLUSIVE"

We’re a family of four with kids aged 7 and 9, stayed here for 9 nights in Mar/Apr 2019. The verdict: easily, best resort in the Riviera Maya we’ve ever stayed in (out of 5 times). We won’t repeat the positive reviews on the standard stuff, except to say all the good stuff is true. We have just ONE negative: the AC is strong and blew cold air on our heads since the vent isn’t adjustable. On breezy nights we just slept without AC but some hot nights we just had to pull our blankets over our heads. Now, let us tell you about the things that truly stood out for us:

Food allergies:
My husband has IBD and requires a special diet, in addition to gluten- and dairy-free. We were weary about food options so prior to our visit I emailed the resort with details about specific foods he can/can’t eat. Surprise: Exec Chef Sergio Zarate wrote me back! Upon check-in, we learned that our email was forwarded to all restaurants. So every time our room number was given to a server, they’re ready to discuss how to customize our dishes. Now, that is service! Big thanks to Food & Beverages Manager David Argaez for the personal care and attention he extended to us.

-Raul at Vina del Mar: Every breakfast is a delight because of him. Tell him your special needs and preferences once and he’ll beat you to it at your next visit. He clearly values and enjoys his job. Gracias, Raul, we miss those pleasant mornings!

Food:
The cooking and menus are a cut above the typical all-inclusives. You won’t find french fries during a Mediterranean-themed dinner buffet. Prawns and scallops are grilled to perfection with just olive oil, salt, and pepper. There is sophistication in how things are prepared and presented. There wasn’t a paper napkin or plastic utensil in sight.

Beach:
Also worth mentioning is the perfect geography of the beach, which gives it bathtub-calm waters and keeps it entirely free of seaweed (unlike most other Cancun beaches).

To sum up, it was a wonderful, luxurious stay at a world-class resort; but what makes us a loyal future guest is the genuine commitment to service, quality, and customer experience.

Vi var en familie på 5 med barn i alderen 12-22 år og alle storkoste seg. Flere av oss har rest mye i eksotiske omgivelser og dette er den fineste stranden vi har vært på. Hotellfasilitetene er 5-stjerners og man lever virkelig i luksus. Anbefaler dette hotellet på det varmeste og komme absolutt til å reise tilbake! Gøy område for ungdommen da det er flere puber og nattklubber i nær avstand, men man er også veldig skjermet fra dette med mindre man oppsøker det. Mange gode restauranter i området.

Fantástico hotel en un entorno encantador! Éramos una familia de 5 con niños de 12 a 22 años y todos disfrutaban. Varios de nosotros hemos viajado extensamente en un entorno exótico y esta es la mejor playa en la que hemos estado. Las instalaciones del hotel son de 5 estrellas y realmente vives en el lujo. Recomiendo encarecidamente este hotel y sin duda volveremos! Área de diversión para los jóvenes, ya que hay varios bares y clubes nocturnos en las proximidades, pero uno también está muy protegido de esto a menos que lo busque. Muchos buenos restaurantes en la zona.

"Magic in Mexico"

We had an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING time! We spent our honeymoon there 25 years ago and came back this year to celebrate our silver anniversary.

During our stay, we were provided with extraordinary hospitality and service as the staff went out of their way to pamper us and make us feel special. From our STUNNING room with a BREATHTAKING view of the ocean to the DELICIOUS dinner on the beach and even our hydrotherapy session at the spa, we were treated like royalty. The rose petals in our room with the bubble bath, champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries were the perfect way to end our evening.

Patricio and the rest of the staff at the resort made sure that we had everything necessary for a magical anniversary and we thank them all for the wonderful memories they helped create. We HIGHLY recommend this resort to anybody looking to make the most out of their trip to sunny Cancun, Mexico.

"Absolutely Would Return ❤️"

By far, one of the most enjoyable trips I’ve ever taken in my life, and even more so due to this place as our hotel home during our stay. The ambiance of the hotel, the breath taking view from our hotel room/pools/bars, the spacious clean fresh rooms, the decor, the amenities, it was all so great! The customer service here exceeded my expectations during every interaction. Their attentiveness was so mind blowing. In my most humble way, I myself found myself feeling like I was treated like royalty here. I want to give a huge shoutout to all the workers working there, honestly. From those serving in La Joya, the bikini bar, Isla Contoy, the bars, to even In-room dining, and room service, thank you, you all are so appreciated. We came here over all to Cancun to celebrate my birthday and anniversary and I couldn’t get over how kind and thoughtful they were with their surprise champagne and beautiful slices of cake for my fiancé and I. Well done, thank you once again! Lastly, a HUGE THANK YOU to the workers at Vina Del Mar. Man oh man do you all hustle and work so furiously to attend and exceed customers needs. Shout out to particularly Wilberth and Edgar.. my unforgettable sweet souls, I am astonished with your devotion and passion into providing excellent customer service and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to be served by you both. "Best hotel experience we have ever had..."

We have never been to a place that we say “let’s go back” (since there is so much to explore in the world)…but this hotel…100% would return. I was initially a bit concerned about non all inclusive and had budgeted to spend much more than we actually did! A thousand little things made all the difference for us.
Let’s just start with staff who say “my pleasure” when you thank them. I know this is trivial but it speaks VOLUMES…in a quiet way.
-Not ONE staff member “lingered” for a tip…we tipped, as always (and beleive me, they all deserve it), but, for once, it was OUR pleasure to do so.
-The check in was seamless and although we arrived quite early in the day, we were able to access our GORGEOUS room right away.
The resort was “explained” to us at check in…this saved us so much time trying to figure our way around. We were at home within hours 🙂
-clean clean clean!! Wow…
-beach/pool towels given to you when you go outside and exchanged on your way back in for “indoor” towels. No stress of losing your “assigned” towel like most other resorts.
Even slippers in case you are barefoot 🙂 like I said…the little things:)
-You can freely walk about the “city” at all hours (2 minute walk from hotel). We never felt unsafe although, yes, people are trying to sell you on everything…pestering but not invasive or threatening. A polite “no thank you” and they move on.
-heated pools…amazing spa
-reasonably priced and fantastic hotel restaurants (hence we didnt blow the budget…)

I could go on and on…ask and I will be happy to let you know.

Tidbits that may help:
1. Definitely worth upgrading to the grand club. Gorgeous room on upper floor. Private luxury beach area. Private check in. Top shelf drinks from 4-9 and delicious hors d’oeuvres that are pretty much a meal…PLUS resort credits and freebies so you pretty much justify it by using the coupons where you can 😉
2. Grocery store and convenience store is a 5 minute stroll if you want snacks/drinks/mix…cheap and easy…If you choose so non all inclusive is really no big deal…for us anyway
3. If you’re a big coffee drinker..nespresso machines in room. I think there may be a charge but we did grand club so was free.

All in all..amazing service…amazing staff…would 100% recommend!

"I will definitely return!"

What a fantastic week in Cancun and the GFACBC made it extra special. This is a hotel that caters to the discerning traveler. Higher end service and not a party atmosphere. From the extra attention they give you at the pool to the fresh flower arrangements in the lobby, it is classy. The spa – the spa! It’s the most grand spa I’ve ever been to. At minimum book a Hydrotherapy session. And bring a book. Many places to relax and take a breath. The views are amazing and even tho the longer beach is a short walk away, it’s worth it. A big plus is the modern grocery store across the street. You can go to the second floor to get a delicious salad bar or fresh produce and wine. All inexpensive. And for the best part… their staff! Adrianna, the head of conferences to such great care of us. While we were there a large group had events outside that created alot of noise. Disturbed our peaceful vacay. She listened to us so well and made it right for us that we were doubly impressed. Also Henry, Israel, JJ, Alberto, and Alex at the pool and beach were so lovely and took care of us. Lisbeth at the front desk and Tabita in the gym were outstanding. Made us feel special and taken care of. Thank you for a great memory!

"This place exceeded our expectations!"

Super late to writing our review – we went over Thanks giving week in 2018. My husband and I and our 2 children (10 & 6). We were going for a wedding at another resort and were very anxious about traveling to Cancun with our children. We were there for 7 days and we would have stayed longer if we could have! We did the junior suite 2 double beds grand club level. That is the key… GRAND CLUB! It is worth every penny.
From the delicious food to the amazing, clean room with a breathtaking view, to top level treatment, we had a blast. Everyone was super attentive and kind and we felt safe the entire time we were there. The kids loved the kids club. There were so many activities for them to do each day and they made new friends from all over. The beach was fantastic and very little seaweed. There were plenty of beach toys to rent from the concierge for the kids to play with in the sand. The restaurants in the resort were also delicious. Our oldest loved having the food available all day for him to eat and he still asks if we can go back for the food. We did venture out a few nights and days to the surrounding area and it was fun. We bought a few things from the little shops and from the outdoor mall.

Overall, I could go on and on about how amazing it all way but the review would be way too long. WE felt safe the entire time we were there. The kids did too. Clean room. Great food. Clean resort…. we would go back in a heart beat. Thank you to all the amazing staff there that made our trip a wonderful Thanksgiving away from home.

And to those commenting about the old paintings and lobby furniture: i’m not there for either of those. Didn’t bother me.

カンクンは他のホテルも泊まったことがありますがこちらのホテルが一番好きです。全室オーシャンビューでジュニアスイートなので部屋も広くて居心地がいい！プールはビーチの目の前にあり子供たちはプールとビーチを行ったり来たりして大はしゃぎ。大人はプールバーで飲んで泳いでと、大人も子供一日中楽しめます。ここのビーチは浅瀬で波がおどやかなので子供が泳いでも安全です。カンクンでは口コミのいいレストランに何軒も食べに行ってみましたがホテル内のレストランの食事が一番美味しかったです。
チェックインした時のフロントの方が無愛想で感じが悪かったのでガッカリしたのですが、その人以外はベルマンやプールバーのバーテンダー、ウェイター、皆さんとてもフレンドリーで仕事も早く、うちの子供たちでさえも接客態度がプロフェッショナル！と感嘆していました。
また泊まりたいホテルの一つです。

Just got back from a stay over the New Year, and from the moment of arrival until departure, we were treated with exceptional hospitality. The entire staff went out of their way to meet any and all of our needs. A “Five Star” resort in every sense of the description. Will definitely return.

"Sheer Perfection"

The value that the Fiesta Americana Coral Beach is and the fact that they have the most optimal and strategic location to all the amenities Cancun has to offer (shopping, entertainment…) is what deserves every consideration. Their sandy white, calm beach waters broken by Isla Mujeres and the most incredible pool and relaxing atmosphere makes Fiesta Americana Coral Beach the best hotel, bar none, in the hotel zone. The food, from even the swim up bar, is equally incredible. And the service? It has brought me back to the Fiesta Coral Beach for the fourth year in a row. The world class spa is unforgettable!

Making the pool incredible is the sheer size, cleanliness and the extensive and perfectly manicured and luscious greenery that surrounds it. The grounds were aforethought to the hotel’s architectural plans: the hotel was built into the existing flora. This is very unique to the Fiesta. The natural shade, provided by their abundant palm trees and trees, helps evoke calmness and being one with nature. If you get the cabana out by the pool, it is heaven on earth! Nothing like falling asleep next to turquoise waters and the sounds of the sea.

The hotel can be to capacity, as it was last week that I was there, yet the atmosphere is very zen like–just what my daughter needed before the beginning of the intensity of the 80 hour work weeks that her surgical residency will be. The expansive lobby also gives it that zen feeling.

Their food is first class and superior in all of their restaurants. I will dream about the house made chocolate cake that was made for my daughter’s celebration until I return next year and request my own, from scratch/no box, for whatever reason I can think to have one made for me. I will also dream of the lobster pozole from La Joya restaurant and the complimentary tequila tasting. If something is not on the menu, it’s not a problem; they will make it for you to your specification.

Complimentary to all of the above is THE SERVICE, THE SERVICE, THE SERVICE! I have never managed to sit in any other area (why change perfection) but the Sunset (swim up) Bar as the staff there is a well oiled machine: they work hard, synergistically, and fast to meet your every need without being over bearing in the least. Simply say “todo bien” if you do not need anything. Be sure to try their strawberry, mixed greens, goat cheese and cashew salad with tamarind dressing salad; it is sooooooo good! This is not an all inclusive hotel but you do not spend any more by buying your meals and all your drinks.

"Thrivent Financial experienced"

In February, Thrivent Financial experienced the highest rated conference we have ever had for our annual leadership conference. It was due in large part to the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach property, staff, culinary team and production support team. When we come back, will look no further than this amazing resort, again.

"Will Come Back If In Cancun"

I went there this August at the end of my trip, we wanted to have a quiet 2 days after travelling for two weeks. I could not think of any other place to stay at. The hotel was clean, and well decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful (the welcoming was friendly by a lady who tried her best french since she heard us speak french, it felt nice and personal). It is not an all-inclusive but that did not bother me, I found a deal with breakfast included online and for the rest, we tried the bar next to the pool, the Mexican restaurant and the French restaurant. In my opinion we have received far better food quality and service than in an all-inclusive, the hotel is well located anyway so there are more eateries within walking distance. And yes try the Spa, it was a pure delight! 🙂 I have not been to other hotels in the area to compare properly.
One minor point is that I was disappointed to have to pay to use the Gym facilities as extra, I would have hoped this was included, just like the pool for ex. (But on the other hand I was alone enjoying the view and putting my music out loud! )

"Quality of Food Was Excellent"

Everybody mentioned that the presentation was great, the variety, and the menus.  The flexibility of the Chef was very much appreciated.

The room allocation is great.  It is the first time he doesn’t get any complaints in regards to room allocation….  Everybody was happy.  Amazing the cleanliness of the property.  Everybody express this was a very high end property, the staff is very polite and helpful. TOP PRODUCERS

"Amazing Hotel with Gorgeous Views!!"

We loved almost everything about this hotel. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they closed their pool at 8 and that greatly disappointed us. We spent our days out and about and would come back from dinner hoping to get some time to swim but we were left bored. It really didn’t make since because the pool bar was open but you couldn’t get in the pool. They are very strict about this – we were in the pool and they made us get out at exactly 8, they actually started asking us to get out before then. Our room was so comfortable and the view was perfect. Breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing. Everyone working was very kind and they definitely pamper you!

"The Best Hotel in Cancun"

Why is it the best? Well, it starts with a central location close to the convention centre, restaurants and the main night life in Cancun. While one may think that being so close would make it loud and busy, it’s quite the opposite. The hotel is very large and constructed running parallel to the ocean. It likely has the largest beach front of all the hotels in Cancun. I had a very large ocean view room with a sitting area and a balcony. The pool is large and clean and the ocean is steps away. Full restaurant service right to your lounge chair. There are a few other great restaurants onsite and conference facilities. Service was excellent from front desk to the fantastic cleaning staff that keeps the entire facility sparkling. Yes the best hotel in Cancun

Location of this hotel is perfect – across the street from the convention center and walking distance to many restaurants and night life. Hotel staff is very accommodating. Our experience at the small cafe restaurant was superb – excellent food and service. Looking forward to returning

"Delighted we went."

This was my daughter’s and my first time in Mexico and I made this booking strictly on the reviews on TripAdvisor and the amazing pictures promoting this place. I have traveled everywhere in the world and am fussy when it comes to hotel standards. We were not disappointed. From the time my daughter and I arrived to the moment we left, we were made to feel special. From reception through to room service, the staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. Believe it or not, the pictures do not exaggerate the beauty of this resort. Our junior suite overlooking the lagoon was magical-clean, spacious with a breathtaking view over crystal clear Caribbean water. I can’t even begin to tell you how stunning the sunrise each day was. The atmosphere at the hotel is serene, laid-back which was exactly what we were looking for– a bit of rest and relaxation.The food was an excellent standard and obviously prepared to very strict hygiene standard. We chose from the a la carte menu rather than the buffet for breakfast – an option that worked to our liking. The only “downside” of this place is that other than the pools, the jet skis, the dining and the spa — there is nothing else to do without leaving the compound. Yes, there is shopping in walking distance and some other restaurants but no planned activities at the hotel- at least not while we were there but this was for us a minor point. I can’t wait to go again.

"My Favorite Hotel"

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here 13 years ago. A business trip to Playa del Carmen resulted in us extending and wanting to go back to Cancun. Based on the hotel’s beach, there was no other hotel we considered.

While we thought the hotel was nice 13 years ago, we simply loved it on this trip. The staff was as professional as could be; they were extremely attentive and friendly. The grounds and public areas are constantly being taken care of and cleaned…you can tell the staff has great pride in the hotel. Both my wife and I work in large luxury hotels in Las Vegas and this hotel was the cleanest and best maintained property we have seen. Everything was spotless!

The pools are gorgeous, and the property sits on probably the nicest beach in the Cancun area. The entire Caribbean has been plagued with a seaweed issue this year…the Fiesta Americana has nets offshore to keep the problem to a minimum while they also have staff picking up seaweed that does make it to shore. It really was not a concern.

The location of the hotel could not be better. It is conveniently located to restaurants, bars, nightspots, and shopping so you don’t have to go far for added options, but it still maintains a relaxed, low-key atmosphere when you are on the property grounds. It is the perfect place to relax.

The rooms are tastefully decorated, as are the restaurants on property. There are a number of fine restaurants to choose from if you don’t want to leave the hotel. The breakfast buffet was especially nice, and there are a number of theme nights at the various venues (Mexican Fiesta, Reggae, etc.).

The hotel’s spa was probably my wife’s favorite feature. She said the attention she received and the treatments available were second to none.

We both loved our stay and vowed to come back sooner rather than later. It is a great hotel.

"Why they don't have 5 stars, I'll never know!"

I don’t even know where to begin with this amazing resort and more importantly; the most incredible people who provide lovely hospitality that work here. This resort is a gem and why anyone has one negative thing to say; I will never understand.
First to disprove some of the other reviews; I am not sure what hotel the guy who claims you can’t bring bottled water from the outside into the resort or that the security guards watch you like a hawk. I brought groceries (snacks/water/soda) multiple times from the grocery store right down the road and was always greeted with a warm smile and friendly ‘hola’; so that just isn’t true. I did not experience ONE rude encounter during my stay, we were treated like royalty during our entire 7 days at Fiesta Americana Coral.

A few highlights regarding staff;
The man who stole our heart… Benigno (Benny). We first met him when he waited on us on our second day under the palapa on the beach. Every day after that, we had 4 lounge chairs waiting for us with towels to lay on & towels as pillows; 2 in the shade and 2 in the sun so we could tan. He constantly brought us buckets of fresh ice, made sure we had what we needed and never put pressure on us about paying immediately; let us keep a tab open every day that made it super easy to pay with a credit card if needed. He was so kind, respectful and the most lovely man we met during our trip. A few people were looking and asking for him that were regulars so we know he is a gem that many people are fond of. Our last day he was actually working at the breakfast buffet (which is soooo delicious btw!) and he waited on us for our last morning, we were so sad to say goodbye. I hope everyone treats this man the way he deserves, he made our trip to Cancun so special and we will never forget him!
Oscar at La Joya restaurant was also so great! We did the tequila tasting (in the coupon book) and he not only enlightened us with so much cool information about the different kinds of tequila and the process it takes to make them but also made us laugh with his great sense of humor! Highly recommend seeing him at the restaurant.
The staff at the spa were also incredible. I am a spa snob; membership at Burke Williams, have been to many in my life and let me tell you… you will never experience a spa like this. It was absolutely stunning from decor to the 10 steps of hydrotherapy you do before your service (spa/sauna/steam/ice room/jacuzzi/mudbath etc.). Just amazing! I actually ended up cutting my toe in the last giant infinity pool; I think on a piece of tile that had come lose (which they immediately fixed) and they waited on me like no other! They called first-aid and had someone come disinfect and properly wrap my toe (I felt so silly but this is their protocol) and they even ended up giving me my 80 minute massage complimentary, it was unreal! They were so accommodating and gracious, it was such a treat to say the last.

The rooms are beautiful; marble floors with steps that go down to a sitting area and a beautiful view of the pool and ocean if you get ocean front view. The house-keeper came 3 times a day and left us chocolates daily, organized our shoes and left us clean slippers and robes every day… it was a fairy-tale really!

The beach is the best in all of cancun, you are on the side where the waves aren’t too rough and they keep the area so clean with the fluffiest whitest sand! Right behind you is the hotel zone downtown where there is senor frogs, the outdoor market where you can buy all of your gifts to back home, some outlets and even grocery stores and great restaurants.

I can’t wait to come back and stay at this resort again, it was perfect from beginning to end. I will recommend all my family and friends to stay here in a heartbeat! 🙂
